The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King >> Review and Trailer

Continuing from the two towers. Frodo (EW) and Sam (SA) are led by Gollum (AS) to the dark gates of Mordon. But suggesting that it is too risky for them to enter from there he takes then through a secret staircase. Sam suspects his intentions but Frodo believes him.

Pippin meanwhile could not control his curiosity and touches the palantir. There he sees a vision of where the attack is going to be, and at the same time the eye comes to believe that he is the one who has the ring. So he and Gandalf (IMK) set out to Minas Tirith in Gondor. It is soon attacked by Sauron's forces which far outnumbers that of Gondor's.

Meanwhile, Rohan's armies start marching to join the armies of Gondor. On the other hand, Narsil, the sword which cut Sauron's hand is reforged by the elves and presented to Aragorn (VM). He uses it to raise an army of the cursed, undead. With their help, the battle of Gondor is won. And they are let free of the curse.

Now it is time for them to attack Mondor, as a diversion for Frodo to be able to get to the mountain of Doom. Frodo, on the other hand, has been misled into the tunnel of Cirith Ungol by Gollum. He is stinged by her and Sam assumes him to be dead and takes the ring from him. He is then captured by the Orcs and Sam sets out to rescue him.

Rating: Green - Final movie of the Trilogy based on the book 'Lord of the Rings' by JRR Tolkien, it is an epic movie. The uncut version was about 4 and half hours long. The best film of the trilogy probably, because of the greater pace and action and that it contains the climax.
