Comments:
Any comic movie with any kind of religious references (cheap ones) is not my taste. I avoided this movie for quite some time. Finally, giving in to the temptation of knowing what made this movie the number one grosser internationally. Did I find something. . . no. It's a sweet movie about a good-at-heart idiot becoming XYZ owing to the circumstances. The songs are not worth wasting your time upon.

Konkona Sen, Brinda Karat

Story:

As Kaju closes in on her roots she found out that her family was one of the several families who were destroyed (killed or separated) in the 1984 Hindu-Sikh riots.

She believes that an auto driver who was a local goon in his youth and who murdered several people during the riots is her father... is she the daughter of a goon, a murderer? Watch the movie...

My Comments:
A well made movie about the riots. Negligible explicit scenes(unlike the cheap bollywood movies which try to sell on such horror content). It's all about a daughter who is trying to find out the true identities of her parents.

The movie is absolutely serious, it is well made and the actors are all good. Though somehow it is not made well eno…

My Comments:
This is the first movie which I saw more because of the heroine than because of the story and thankfully so. I would've repented my decision to watch the movie otherwise. On a second thought, considering how well this khichdi was made I wouldn't have, even though its the same old wine in a new bottle. That's because the bottle indeed is good- Aamir Khan's nephew, Genelia and the rest of the caste, and the movie itself is well made. In any case what I found amusing was that the Khan who is most fam…

Comments:
The last Super-Hero(Super, Spidey, Bat, HeMan category) movie that I liked was Superman, as a kid. After that, this is the first Super Hero movie that I've liked. In the earlier (recent) movies stunts were filled like anything, there were so many of them that none looked special. In this movie there were very few stunts, each had something special about it. Even a scene as simple as ba…
